For consumers in the industrial market, whether they are using display terminals in telephone booths or on oil rigs, it is rare to find a monitor that guarantees 10 years of service. Manufacturers can provide displays with a lifecycle that meets or exceeds 10 years. But most manufacturers of industrial grade displays will produce for at least 3 years, while in reality, the supply of products can last for at least 5 years.
In sharp contrast, consumer grade displays used in desktop monitors, laptops, or other consumer devices undergo changes within a year, sometimes as frequently as once every 6 months.
These displays mainly attract consumers with their price or appearance, like shooting stars that disappear in a flash. But they also have their own position in the market, and they are widely used in the consumer sector, where products do not have much requirement for the continuous operation of displays and compatibility with external dimensions.
